Who We Are

EngageIn Co. provides specialized support services for individuals on the Autism Spectrum and those with other developmental disabilities who are consumers of the Regional Center. We offer Community Living Supports and Community Integration Supports — services funded by the California Regional Center under the Self-Determination Program.

EngageIn Co. is not vendored with the Regional Center. We provide services to consumers in the Self-Determination Program and work with your FMS of choice under the Bill-Payer model. All services are delivered in accordance with federal Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) rules, ensuring person-centered, community-integrated care.

Neurocognitive Support Specialist + Therapeutic Activity Companion

Help an easily likeable, fun-loving young adult with Autism Spectrum Disorder. His primary issue is that he is lost in his own thoughts all the time and needs to be actively engaged. Completed High School, but due to attention issues, is not able to do anything unless actively engaged.

Role & Responsibilities:
  • Design and facilitate games and activities (both physical and cognitive) centered around improving presence, awareness, and engagement (attentional control, sensory processing, executive functioning).
Who We're Looking For:
  • Creative, cerebral individuals good at engaging and motivating.
  • Experience or genuine interest in Neuroscience, Neuropsychology, Psychology, Sensory Integration (SI), Occupational Therapy (OT), or Physical Therapy (PT). Students and recent graduates in these fields are highly encouraged.
  • Open to candidates eager to learn and grow, even without formal experience.
  • Background or interest in neurocognitive approaches, such as DIR/Floortime or Sensory Integration games, is a huge plus.
  • Experience with youth in dynamic, gym, or therapeutic settings also valued.
Position Details:
  • Part-time: 10-20 hours per week to start, with potential for increased hours/full-time role.
  • Daytime hours preferred. Some flexibility available.
  • Health insurance available if working full time (30+ hours per week).
  • Competitive compensation for the right candidate. Please respond with your expectation.
  • W2 or 1099.
